Do you vote in primary elections?
Yes.
Felicia,

Yes, I vote in
all elections.
Laney

well ... we don't
have primary elections here, we have general ones, but it's the same thing
really. I vote in every election I'm alowed to vote in, and I have done
since I turned 17. I don't think you have the right to complain about
anything the government does unless you played your part in the democratic
system by voting them in, or attempting to get someone else!

Yes. It became
a habit in New York City, where there was such a Democratic majority that
voting in the primary was the only way really to have a voice in the selection
of local candidates.

I'll see what the
lines look like but at this time I've got a new exhibit to work on and
two jobs to get to.

I did when I was
18, but haven't since then. I generally don't know enough about candidates
to worry about the primaries. I'm working on that, though.

The only time I
voted was in the last presidential election. . .I think. I might have
voted other times,
I guess. At any rate, the presidential election was the only one I really
cared about and the guy I voted for lost. So much for that.
Karen,

Sometimes. It usually
depends on how much I have been keeping up with the candidates. I don't
want to vote if I'm not sure what I'm voting on!

I'm registered
"independent" which precludes voting in the primary elections
(but ensures that I get mailings for both parties for the general election).
In the years I've felt strongly about primary candidates, I've changed
my registration from Independent to Democratic and Independent to
Republican--and back to Independent.

Really hard to
get me to vote in the regular elections, I'm sorry to say. I just loathe
all the candidates. I wish they could pick someone good to run. But then
I don't think there is such a thing as a good candidate, just lesser of
evils. Just once I'd like everyone to show up and write-in
a name, any name, to show that we do care about voting, we just want different
choices. And I really wish we had more than two parties. I'll probably
vote for Nader next time around for pres.

Yes.
I always try to get out and vote.
Janet,

I
almost always do, but I missed this year. I was out of town and didn't
remember in time to get an absentee ballot.

I
don't vote at all. I don't have enough time to check out the political
elections.
Melodi,

Nope.
I'm not actually registered to vote at all. I probably should register
but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. When I do, though, I'm not
registering with a party, because I just don't have political beliefs
that fit with any one party.
