Do you watch Saturday Night Live and if so what was your favorite cast?
not in a while,
but favorite cast would have to be Chris Farley.

I no longer
watch SNL ... can't get through it anymore. Long gone are the days of
Belushi, Akroid, Martin, Chase, Murray, Radner and Curtin. Great, great
laughs on those old SNL shows. Today's cannot compare, in my opinion.

I have always watched Saturday Night Live (except when I was really young
and my mom wouldn't let us watch) and, of course, the early cast was my
favorite - john belushi, gilda radner, chevy chase, bill murray... But
there have been cast members over the years that I have really enjoyed
- David Spade, Norm MacDonald, Will Ferrell etc. There usually is some
nugget of gold in the glittery stuff…

I
watch it when I'm not too tired. Haven't really been able to catch it
this year due to working 8a-10p. That said I think the late 80's/early
90's were best with Miller, Carvy, Nealon, Jackson, Lovitz and Hartman.
Alias Irrelevante
I
watched it occasionally, and I can't recall any special group.

I
watched Saturday Night Live back in the day. I think the original cast
was the funniest.

No.
I don't watch television.

I
guess the original cast will always be my favorite and amongst them Bill
Murray remains tops.

No,
never watched it.

My favorite cast had to be with Martin Short, Christopher Guest, Billy
Crystal, etc - some of the funniest sketches ever were done by that group.
Remember the men's synchro swimming? How about the "I hate when that
happens" bit, or the Ed Grimley Wheel of Fortune audition?
Later on, the new cast with Dennis Miller, Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman,
Jon Lovitz, etc, was also pretty good - the pathological liar sketch,
the church lady, Kevin Nealon's subliminal advertising guy, and anything
with Phil Hartman in it (he was a comedic genius who left us far too soon
- everytime I hear his voice in a Simpsons rerun I feel sad). Don't watch
it much these days, Chris Kattan is too much to take.

I
don't, very often. And I don't have a favorite cast. Wasn't David Spade
on SNL, though? He's good. I got to see the SNL studio when I toured NBC.
: ) My favorite episode: Bon Jovi was guest starring. . .Jon & Richie
were, anyway. . .and they were doing this skit where two of the guys tried
out to be dancers, and at the end the two guys put mops on their heads
and sat on stools to do an imitation of the famous Bon Jovi MTV acoustic
performance, and you could tell Jon & Richie didn't know it was coming,
and they just could barely contain their laughter. It was GREAT. : )

Back
in the day when it first came out. I remember where ever we were on Sat.
Night - we'd head back to someone's house to watch it. This was before
TVs were in bars. But now, I don't find it humorous.
